Trees for Better Africa in partnership with Kenya Forest service celebrated World Forestry Day at Irangi Forest Sation in one of the degraded forest lands in Mount Kenya region one of the forest which is rich in biodiversity and contains Afro-Alpine forest on upper zone, Afromante forests and riparian forests along river valleys. World forestry day serves as a platform to highlight the critical role of forests in providing clean air, fresh water and a stable climate while supporting diverse ecosystem and livelihoods.
