About our organization
Trees for Better Africa is an environmental conservation organization registered in Kenya since 2015. The organization undertake various environmental conservation activities within Kenya. Around the world landscapes and ecosystem are deteriorating, the rural households that rely on land for survival are trapped in cycles of hunger and poverty. Trees for Better Africa. work directly with local community to plant and restore forest and farmlands to help create a impactful solution for our planet through advancing efforts for nature conservation and sustainable developments, protecting and restoring our degraded ecosystems, driving nature based solutions to mitigate climate change while contributing to improving livelihoods of rural households. By partnering with local communities to collaboratively design and implement restoration projects, we are inspiring hope, enhancing biodiversity, and generating long-term socioeconomic benefits to strengthen the resilience of people and the planet.

Since 2015, Trees for Better Africa has achieved the following in terms of environmental conservation activities and improving the livelihood’s of the communities.
- Forest Restoration- planted more than 420,000 trees
- Agroforestry- Planted more than 3,200,000
- Greening schools- Planted more than 200,0000 trees in schools
- agroforestry trainings - Trained more than 26,000 farmers in agoforestry
- Senzitization- senzitized more than 5000 community members on forest conservation
