Trees for Better Africa, in partnership with the Kenya Forest Service and Community Forest Associations, undertakes the restoration of degraded forest lands through the planting of native trees. The organization supports community-owned nurseries to raise quality seedlings for restoration activities and works closely with communities living adjacent to the forest to plant and manage the trees.
In addition, Trees for Better Africa encourages community members to report illegal activities such as logging, charcoal burning, and hunting of wild animals. Through these efforts, the organization promotes forest conservation, protects biodiversity, and supports the sustainable management of natural resources for the benefit of present and future generations.
