Trees for Better Africa supports community-owned nurseries to raise quality seedlings for the project. This approach helps ensure a steady supply of healthy seedlings while also strengthening local participation in environmental restoration efforts.
We also create employment opportunities for women and youth by purchasing seedlings from them and engaging them in planting and managing trees. This support improves their livelihoods and enables them to meet their basic needs while contributing to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
